Gateway-Native Management
Qartis is Melqart Systems' gateway-native management framework for turning an OWA unit into a self-contained operational hub. It supports device configuration, sensor and interface onboarding, data-flow validation, diagnostics, and lifecycle management directly on the gateway, even when the site is offline.
Guided device setup and commissioning, health status, resource monitoring, system diagnostics, centralized log access, troubleshooting workflows, and backup/restore for configuration and device state.
Network setup (wired / Wi-Fi client or access point, depending on hardware profile), cellular connectivity configuration and diagnostics (SIM/APN, signal status, etc.), interface inventory and device-side validation for attached peripherals.
Structured configuration with validation and safe defaults, change tracking (who changed what, when) and controlled rollout of settings, environment-ready profiles (lab, pilot, production).
Qartis can power mobile apps used by technicians for on-site configuration and provisioning, installation checklists and validation steps, and fast diagnostics during rollout and maintenance. This is especially useful for large fleets where speed, consistency, and reduced training time matter.
Verify edge data collection pipelines before go-live, manage outbound connectors (e.g., MQTT/HTTPS) to your chosen platform or backend, and use deployment patterns designed for intermittent connectivity.
Qartis is designed to adapt to your product and customer requirements.
Enable only what you need per OWA unit model, customer, or fleet.
Align terminology, structure, and visual identity with your product.
Add your own commissioning steps, validations, dashboards, and diagnostics.
Connect to your existing tools and platforms with no lock-in. Qartis is well suited to OEMs that need a consistent product experience while supporting customer-specific requirements.

Qartis runs locally on the OWA unit, so technicians can commission and troubleshoot on-site without relying on a cloud connection.

Designed to support strong access control, traceability, and operational hardening, helping you meet customer expectations for governance and cybersecurity posture.

Whether you deploy telematics, retrofits, or edge data loggers, Qartis provides a consistent control plane that keeps deployments predictable and maintainable.
Qartis runs locally on the OWA unit, providing a self-contained control plane that operates independently of cloud connectivity.
Qartis is delivered as part of alloy-it, Melqart Systems' development and delivery system for OWA units. This provides a clean path from development to integration to deployment, with a consistent framework for building, packaging, and maintaining customer-specific applications on a stable operational foundation.
